Well, bloggers, I'm in a holding pattern at the U. The worker's comp folks didn't raise the work restriction.
My super's gallbladder started throwing stones and took the man down for the rest of the term. I'm alternating between two, maybe three, discrete jobs: coordinator of piano technical services, interim administrative assistant and ad hoc administrative assistant to an associate dean. I'm staying busy, at the very least.
Met with the Dean, last Thursday, and she asked me to continue in the holding pattern. She has a plan--just needs to talk to the person who would be my (new) supervisor. Got to wonder who that would be. I have a feeling that that person isn't currently employed at the U.
The future looks interesting.
For some darned reason, the Legal Assistants Association of Michigan website isn't responding. Anyone got an explanation?
Anyone seen or heard Dub-yuh, lately? Not me. Life is good not having to hear that chimp's chatter!
What's the body count over in Iraq? Seems like 30-40 are being killed every day (not all U.S. service personnel, but a lot all the same). Bloody mess.
